United Way 2-1-1’s Health Care Resource Guide is a valuable tool that provides up-to-date information on state, federal and privately purchased health insurance programs for Connecticut residents. The guide contains information about how to obtain health care when you are uninsured, ineligible for state and federal programs, or unable to pay for the cost of care. In these difficult economic times, this resource guide can help residents sort out their options for accessing health care in Connecticut.

In preparation for the 2010 U.S. Census, census workers will canvas neighborhoods in communities in Connecticut and around the nation to update its address list. State residents may see canvassers in their neighborhoods reviewing address information beginning in April. The U.S. Department of Commerce, the agency that administers the Census, will begin recruiting census takers in the fall of 2009.
