The listings include information about where to donate clothing, furniture, food, school supplies, toys and much more! Visit 2-1-1 for a complete listing of donation centers.


Operation Fuel Referrals on the Rise

In October and November of this year, 2-1-1 made over 2,500 referrals to Operation Fuel, 4 times the number of referrals made during the same time period last year. This year, Operation Fuel is offering five different heating assistance programs and has expanded its income eligibility levels. Calling 2-1-1 for Substance Abuse Support

2-1-1 has received close to 23,000 requests for information related to substance abuse so far this year. Close to half of the requests are for information on residential substance abuse treatment, inpatient drug and alcohol detoxification and alcohol dependency support groups. Support for Children in Military Families

2-1-1 Child Care has joined a statewide team that has been assembled to assist children who have a loved one serving in the military. Operation Military Kids is focused on educating school personnel, child care programs and community groups throughout the state about military culture and the impact of deployment on military youth. 2-1-1 Child Care has assigned Early Childhood Specialist Valerie Schoell to be a member of the team that provides this training.
