Campaign News

The United Way of Norwalk & Wilton harnesses the energy, enthusiasm, and commitment of so many citizens and invests in programs that affect us all. We bring together volunteers, local service providers and corporate leaders to create solutions to our community’s most pressing needs.

United Way invests your contributions in programs that achieve results and address critical problems facing people every day, programs such as:

  • Norwalk Healthy Families Collaborative addresses issues of timely, regular prenatal care, low birth rate weight, teenage births, child abuse and lack of health insurance as well as other critical pregnancy, birth and early childhood issues with a focus on the South Norwalk community.
  • Wilton Positive Youth Development Initiative or Vision 2020 concentrates on the healthy development of Wilton’s young people involving all the major youth serving organizations – public, non-profit, and private – in town.
  • Norwalk Senior Center – connects older adults to the community through recreational, educational and social programs designed to promote healthy aging. Its bilingual Cedar Court site serves seniors with the greatest socioeconomic needs.

As a member of the Norwalk and Wilton communities, and as a United Way volunteer, I have seen firsthand how United Way focuses on what matters most, achieving results in our community every day. I know that a charitable gift to United Way can change lives. Together we can build a stronger and more caring community.

United Way…your chance to do what matters and have an impact in your community.

Won’t you join me in supporting our United Way?
