From Connecticut Thruway I-95
- Get off I-95 in Bridgeport at Exit 27A (you will be on the Route 8 connector).
- Proceed on Route 8 connector for short distance to first exit (Exit 2 Golden Hill Street).
- Proceed to traffic light (Harrison Street) and turn left.
- Proceed to next traffic light (Washington Avenue) and turn left.
- Proceed on Washington Avenue approximately 2/10 mile. United Way building will be on the right side of street (one story brick building).
- Park on the side or in the rear of the building.
From Merritt Parkway, Route 8 & 25
- Take Route 8 to Bridgeport.
- Get off at Exit 3 (Exit 3 will split).
- Take right fork. There proceed straight ahead to traffic light (Main Street).
- Turn left on Main Street and proceed one traffic light bearing to the right to Washington Avenue.
- Proceed on Washington Avenue past 6 traffic lights (approximately 8/10 mile).
- United Way building will be on the right (one story red brick building).
